VIDEO: Players’ Charity making a difference in our communities

The Players’ Charity will donate more than R400 000 to various community organisations around South Africa this year.

The Players’ Charity is an initiative created by the players, which is aimed at contributing to charitable organisations in their playing communities.

Players set aside funds from their collective commercial rights income and all provincial teams, including the Springboks and Springbok Sevens, have the chance to choose a charity of their choice.

Already, most teams – like the Lions, Cheetahs, Boland, SWD, Pumas, the EP Kings, Springboks and more – have made their donations and visited the charities to make a difference.
